Design more durable gun carriage: Gribovalle system
In 1750, French artillery general Jean Batiste Gribovalle (1715-1789) invented horizontal foot screw that lightened cannon laying. In 1774 Gribovalle has
conducted artillery reorganization. Since then, cannon caliber was standardized (field artillery comprised 12-, 8-, and 4-pound guns) in order to facilitate
artillery ammunition supply, and each gun component was manufactured in compliance with punctually prescribed standard; thus in case of gun-carriage breakage,
a defective part could be quickly replaced. Gribovalle's gun-carriages were used for long in European armies and allowed increasing guns' durability.

Designing a durable Gribovalle gun carriage allows increasing artillery durability by 150%. After researching this
technology, your artillery (Cannons, Mortars, Howitzers, Multi-barreled Cannons) will have 2.5 times as much HP, this making them hard to demolish. |
